Just to say ...

The theme on the Funky Fairy Challenge blog this week is Going Dotty.

I made a greetings card using papers which were all free downloads from the Funky Fairy Inspirations blog.
I added organza ribbon, a black brad & the butterfly image (Anna Griffin clear stamp).

  5. Oh my, oh my -this is stunning.! Would you mind sharing how you made the flower? I love the papers you chose to interpret the challenge -but it's that funky flower that's intriguing me and shouting out for attention ;-) Have you curled it for dimension or something? I hope this isn't cheeky -it's just so beautiful that it come in the "in my dreams" category. I'd love to have a go if you don't mind telling how...
    Thanks,

  6. The flower image is part of the download set, so I printed it off twice onto normal printer paper & cut them out.

Using the flat edge of my closed scissors, I ran it along the underside of each petal to make each petal curl under.

I cut a circle for the middle of the flower from the main dotty pattern, which had been printed onto card & put the brad through.

Only the middle of the flower was stuck to the card using silicone glue. All the petals were free to move.
