The journal prompt this week

I would currently
describe myself.

Finding a way through

Week 24 in my
Mellow Kraft
Journal
.

The journal prompt
from France Papillon
this week is
unstuck your brain.

France explains that this prompt is about
what you do when you find yourself
with a creative block.

What can you do to get going again?

One way is to escape your daily routine.

So this week I ventured out to a local garden centre.

Even in the pouring rain,
I thoroughly enjoyed wandering around,
trying to keep dry under my umbrella.

This week we passed the 80th day of lockdown.

Worthy of a mention in my journal.

I used patterned paper
from Glenda Waterworth
& patterned paper
from The English Paper Company.

There are also
photo corners by Paperchase,
a dictionary definition,
an image from the Graphics Fairy,
a Tim Holtz Paper Doll,
words from an old novel,
printed text,
washi tape
& doodling with a
black Posca Paint Pen.

Let There Be Peace

Week 23 in my
Mellow Kraft
Journal
.

A new month means
a new journal theme from France Papillon
which is
Powerful Confidence.

The first prompt was
Daily Wins.

A new month also means
a new design focus for my journal,
which for June is
datsuzoku.

From Monday of this week,
a few more businesses were allowed to reopen,
but with the need to control the R rate,
if that figure starts to rise,
we will have to revert back
to a tighter lockdown.

Unfortunately,
there have been quite a few large gatherings
at beaches & beauty spots
& a few protests & demonstrations
which may make all the sacrifices,
that the majority of us have made
over the last few months,
pointless.

Their selfish actions have
put all of our lives
& futures at risk.

This is a time for peace, self-control
& respect for each other.

I have nothing more to say.

I used patterned paper
from Glenda Waterworth
& patterned paper
from The English Paper Company.

The calendar, rose & vintage card images
are from the Graphics Fairy.

There are also
photo corners by Paperchase,
a dictionary definition,
words from an old novel,
printed text,
washi tape
& doodling with a
white Posca Paint Pen.
