Postcard from Paris

The challenge this week on Art Creations Friday was to use the image provided in our artwork.

I made a digital Artist Trading Card using the background image from week 6.

And as with all my digital projects, here is my digital art journal page, which shows the images used & their source.

  2. You have to look in close-up to see the little flowers in her hair !(I hope that every one will do that Daisy) And how you add the lovely poppies !
    Realy serene and majestic !

  3. Thank you for your comments.

Rian - the red flowers were already in her hair. By adding more red elements, the Anenomes & by altering the colour of the butterflies to match, they draw the flowers in her hair into focus.

Flower names all have meanings. Anenome means "expectation".

  6. This is exquisite, Daisy. I swear, you have not only discarded the hat, you've changed the angle of her face, if I'm not mistaken. ....or is it just an optical illusion?

  7. You're right Bev. Her hat was so heavy she couldn't hold her head up straight!

So I helped her lift it off & now she's lightheaded LOL

  8. Daisy, this is so beautiful. I love the way her face is unobstructed and really pops, while everything around her enhances it. This is gorgeous.
