The challenge at Skinny Saturday this week
is to draw inspiration from the children’s rhyme of
Monday’s Child.
Monday's child is fair of face
Tuesday's child is full of grace
Wednesday's child is full of woe
Thursday's child has far to go
Friday's child is loving and giving
Saturday's child works hard for a living
But the child born on a Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay
As the skinny challenges are set on a Saturday,
I decided to base mine on Saturday’s child.
The mountboard base was coloured with Distress Ink
(antique linen).
The PaperArtsy image was stamped on HOTP paper
using Archival Ink (Sepia).
Additional papers are by 7 gypsies.
Four brads & a touch of ribbon were added.
The skinny was edged in black ink.
With thanks to Land of Nursery Rhymes.
