The challenge this week on Make a Moo or Two is
Numbers.
The mountboard bases were covered using papers from the Shabby Princess Celebrate range.
I then took a vintage image of the front cover
of an edition of Life magazine
(from a CDROM of copyright free images)
& after a little bit of resizing, cutting & snipping,
I added the image details to the moos.
A final swipe around the edges with black ink & they were finished.
Can you spot all the references to Numbers?
The detail is quite small so to save straining your eyes,
the script at the bottom of the first moo says
1776 1926 One Hundred and Forty-three Years of LIBERTY
and Seven Years of PROHIBITION
The side words say HUNDRED PER CENT
The wording at the top of the second moo says
“THE SPIRIT OF 26”
The wording at the bottom says AMERICAN NUMBER
And of course, both musicians are playing a musical number.
