Texture Tuesday

The Texture Tuesday challenge this week is to use at least one layer of Kim's YesterYear texture.

The original photograph was taken last week on a visit to the site at Herculaneum on a hot sunny day.

I used two layers of the YesterYear texture & composed a haiku for added visual interest.

"a lone red Poppy
grows amidst hot dry ruins
& sad memories"
