G is for Glitter

Week seven of the Inchie Alphabet challenge has arrived at Inchy by Inch, so we are on letter G.

The image of the lady is from Crafty Computer Paper & the words are torn from an old English Dictionary.

The image was printed on white card & adhered to a mountboard base. The edges were sanded. The dictionary words were inked with Distress Ink (antique linen) & then added to the inchie.

  2. Daisy, another gorgeous inchy. I love how your definations are frayed looking. Do you have to wet the paper to achieve this look?

  3. Daisy darling I am just catching up with your beautiful inchies and then I discovered that lovely post that you wrote about me at the end of January. I think I must have missed it because it was the very day that I flew to Egypt (and ever since I am trying so hard to catch up with everything!). You are so lovely to write such nice things!

Really, I just popped by because I am adoring your latest alphabet. The faded vintage look and the charming nostalgic words are wonderful! So beautiful!

Thank you for being such a thoughtful blog friend

  4. Thank you :o)

Karen - the paper just tears that way & I just luv it too. I use a pair of tweezers as the words are so small & tear it very slowly. The fraying is shown at it's best due to the enlarged photographs.
