It started on 1st June & runs daily through until the end of July.
It is always so inspiring to see all the other pieces
of small artwork from around the world.
Reconnecting with familiar artists & meeting new creatives
is the best part of this annual event.
I am creating a paper collage & ink series entitled
birds were called
My aims for ICAD this year,
in addition to being creative everyday,
are to focus on colour observations &
examine balance & flow within each piece of art.
Here is a recap of my first seven cards.
Card 1: birds were called |
Card 2: tree bird |
Card 3: North wood |
Card 4: far beyond |
Card 5: a short life |

some used envelopes,

& printed bird names.
The images & book text are cut from a bird handbook,
found at a charity shop last year.
