Beautiful faces have been appearing all over the internet, thanks to Tam & her online video on how to create one.

I used white acrylic paint & watercolour pencils to create the background & colour the portrait.

I used Distress Inks (dusty concord, milled lavender & tattered rose) to stamp the images which were from Crafty Individuals (butterfly, text background & corner stamp).

Here is the completed layout.

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process & am so pleased with the finished layout. Thank you Tam.

  1. She's got such a sweet souldful expression. Really pretty colours you've chosen for this piece, and the sentiment is great! Well done. Are you going to have a go at the altered board book (including those pesky transfers!!)?

  2. Ohhhhhhh Daisy you are taking Tam's workshop too, this is beautiful :) I don't have purple hair btw, the only thing about me on the girl I painted was blue eyes LOL.

  3. Oh daisy, well done's FAB! I won't show you my attempts! I will keep trying though. Love S xx
