Here in the UK we celebrate November 5th with fireworks, bonfires, toffee apples & baked potatoes in remembrance of the failure to blow up the Houses of Parliament back in 1605 in the infamous Gunpowder Plot.
So, with this in mind, Fiona on Inchy by Inch has set this as the theme for this week's inchie challenge.
I have stamped a Magenta rubber stamp on black card, using clear VersaMark ink, then heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
The inchie was edged with a Krylon 18ct gold leafing pen, then a few drops of gold Stickles were added to the fireworks.
Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I see no reason
Why the Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes, t'was his intent
To blow up the King and Parli'ment.
Three-score barrels of powder below
To prove old England's overthrow;
By God's providence he was catch'd
With a dark lantern and burning match.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, let the bells ring.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, God save the King!
Be safe this Bonfire Night xx
