A Walk in the Countryside
The scrapbooking challenge was to create a page using photographs taken outside, so I did mine using photographs taken on a walk last weekend. It was a beautiful sunny day with a cooling breeze. We walked through woodland, down a hill, crossing the babbling brook & up the hill the other side, stopping here & there to take photographs. A wonderful way to spend the afternoon.

I used paper & elements from the Damask & Dots range from The Shabby Shoppe.

Love, Thoughts & Dreams
Art Creations Friday is back from it's summer break & we were given a beautiful image to use in this week's challenge.

The tags are from Lettering Delights, the corner image & faux brads from Dover. The frame is my own design.

Birthday Blues
A birthday card for my Nephew,
who will be fourteen next month,
using papers designed by Funky Fairy,
colour tweaked by me.

The lettering is black textured cardstock
& cut out using my Sizzix Sidekick die-cutting machine
with the Yarn Sizzlit alphabet dies.

Some of the paisley shapes were cut out,
edges inked & layered (using black 3d foam squares)
to create some dimension on the card.
A little black organza ribbon was added as the finishing touch.

The Last Moo
The final catch-up challenge for Make a Moo or Two.
This is a combined theme of
Alphabet &
Black with Two Colours.
I stamped a Paper Artsy image
using Versamark watermark ink on a white mountboard base.
Using my brayer, I covered the base with Distress Ink (broken china),
just leaving a shadow of the original image of
the alphabet & numbers showing through.
I stamped the mini kids Tim Holtz stamp with Archival Ink (Jet Black)
on white tissue paper. The tissue paper was adhered using PVA glue.
I added three black brads & relevant words cut from an old dictionary.
