Time to catch up ...

Catching up on my missing Make a Moo or Two challenges,
the first one is on the theme of
Zettiology,
which is a new on on me &
I'm not too sure whether what I have created actually fits the bill.

I took a white mountboard base
& created the background by using Distress Inks
(spiced marmalade & mustard seed).

I then picked up my black Whispers pen & started ...

Other colours used were green & red
together with my white opaque Inkssentials pen.

S is for Sincere

This inchie is for the Alphabet Challenge.

The large letter is from Funky Hand’s Shabby Saturday,
the background & small stamp image is from The Graphics Fairy
& the large stamp image from Crafty Computer Paper.

The artwork is on a mountboard base,
with the edges sanded & a brad added.

You can see a slideshow of the complete alphabet here.

Twit ... Twoo ...

The So Artful challenge this week was to use the image provided.

The haunting sound
that fills the night air
You hear the sound
& know they are there

Here is the original image.

Bouquet

I have now completed the set of cards made to give as a gift to my Mother for her birthday.

They are made using decoupage sheets by Anita. Each layer was cut out, edged with Distress Ink & the layers were built up using transparent adhesive squares by Stick it! & silicone or Pinflair Glue Gel.

The base card is made from Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock from their Whitewash Collection, which has a canvas texture.

Additions include organza ribbon, glitter adhesive gems & buttons.

Atomic Dream

This is a digital collage using all the elements provided by Nancy Baumiller for the Crowabout Challenge.

It's retro week on Crowabout, so bright colours, groovy shapes & glitter balls. Cool!

All the images from week 46 collage sheet are included in some shape or form. There were no additions to this collage.

Being 14

A card made for my Nephew for his 14th birthday using a family photograph of his Great Grandfather aged 14 with his father, my Nephew's Great Great Grandfather.

The photograph was altered digitally to improve the background. Once printed out on glossy photographic paper, it was mounted on brown card & then patterned vellum.

The finishing touches are two silver coloured metal corner embellishments.
