Altered Art
Take an item & alter in a way that changes the object’s original purpose into a work of art. Anything goes.
Artist Trading Card (ATC)
Dimensions: 2½ inches by 3½ inches
Shape: Landscape or Portrait
Decorated on one side only, with contact details on the reverse as they are usually made to swap with fellow crafters. Build a collection of ATCs & use them as a source of inspiration.
Fat Book Pages or 4x4
Dimensions: 4 inches by 4 inches
Shape: Square
Decorated on both sides, leaving the front left edge (& back right edge) free from embellishments. Make the pages into a book, using book rings, ribbons or a book binding machine.
Inchies
Dimensions: 1 inch by 1 inch
Shape: Square
Work in miniature & create tiny works of art using any medium. I love them.
Moo MiniCards
Dimensions: 28mm by 70mm
Shape: Landscape or Portrait
Based on the mini calling cards made by Moo, make a decorative item on a theme & swap with fellow crafters.
Skinnys
Dimensions: 3 inches by 5 inches
Shape: Portrait
Make a decorative item on a theme.
Tags
Dimensions: Variable
Shape: Tag shaped with a hole in the top through which ribbon, fibres, string or chain can be thread.
Usually decorated both sides to make a decorative item.
Twinchies
Dimensions: 2 inch by 2 inch
Shape: Square
Slightly larger than an Inchie, but just as challenging. Work in miniature & create small works of art using any medium.
